Why Belonging?
Therapeutic practice continues to ask us to learn, reflect and remain curious about ourselves, our clients and the wider contexts that shape the work.
The aim is to support thoughtful therapeutic practice, deepen awareness and reduce the risk of unintentionally causing harm.
Even with care and good intentions, we can sometimes misunderstand, overlook or interpret a client's experience through our own assumptions.
The Belonging Practitioners Hub creates a warm, non-judgmental professional space where practitioners can continue that learning alongside others who value thoughtful, affirming and context-aware practice.
Through CPD and Clinical Supervision with an Anti-Oppressive Lens, practitioners have space to explore their practice with curiosity, deepen awareness through reflection and reflexivity, and continue developing the way they work with clients.
An anti-oppressive lens supports us in noticing context, identity, culture, power and lived experience, helping us remain curious about what may be happening and why.
